About Tahilan: It's More Than a Place to Stay
Apr 24, 2007
Tahilan is a Residence Hall and Study Center that fosters serious study, offers a program
of well-designed activities, and cultivates a warm and supportive family atmosphere,
that are geared towards the holistic development of young women. As a Residence, Tahilan provides commendable accommodations and other services that include laundry, cleaning,
and meals cooked just like at home at an all-inclusive rate.

Tahilan is a project of the Philippine Foundation for Cultural and Educational Development, Inc.,
a non-stock, non-profit organization promoting education and Christian ideals. The doctrinal
and spiritual activities are entrusted to Opus Dei, a Personal Prelature of the Catholic Church,
which helps people strive for holiness in ordinary everyday life.

Feel free to look around and get to know more about Tahilan's upcoming activities
and recent events. Or better yet, come visit at 2396 Leon Guinto St., Malate, Manila.

Hello! My younger sister is thinking of attending UP Manila and we're looking for a place where she can stay as we're from Roxas City. Is Tahilan quite far from the campus? I saw on the map that it is definitely not as near as DLSU is from Tahilan. If she does stay in Tahilan, will she have to ride a jeep or taxi alone? Or are there girls in the dorm who go to the campus together? Thanks a lot!
